USED ITEM
KING DICK 1/2″ AF X 9/16″ AF SLIM FLAT Ring Spanner. PLEASE READ ALL THE DESCRIPTION AND LOOK VERY CAREFULLY AT ALL 12 PICTURES.
Hello Folks here we have a USED British Made Spanner manufactured in England many years ago, by King Dick. SIZES 1/2″ x 9/16″ AF, length approx 4.1/2″, ring depth approx 1/4 and weight approx 40g. This spanner is only suitable for the correct size UNF & UNC nuts and bolts fitted to Classic British Vehicles etc.
Please Note! I have added a number of Vehicle makes and models that often used UNF & UNC fastners above as a guide only, in the hope that some one spots this spanner who knows for sure it will be suitable for their Classic Vehicle etc.
CONDITION/PATINA, this is a used but not abused dull chrome coloured spanner it will have signs of use, loose storage marks, blemishes, signs of chrome plating loss and age related patina to the surface finish etc. This tool is displayed more or less as found I have only given it a light clean with a brass wire brush to clean off any dust and grime. Please look carefully at all 12 pictures for a more informed idea of condition. Please Note! the 2 different size UNF nuts which are not supplied shown in 2 of the pictures, are only to give an idea of ring fit.
SUMMING UP.. This short flat ring spanner still fits the correct size engineering quality SAE nuts and bolts reasonably well, but no doubt not as tightly as a very expensive shiny new spanner. It would be ideal to display with a suitable Classic Car tool kit at shows etc or you could even use it if the need arose.
