Ford Escort Mk1RS2000 NEWLY REFURBISHED Flat 3 Spoke Steering Wheel. This is a complete refurbishment of the flat3 spoke steering wheels which includes repainting and replacing the soft feel rubber grip.Using an old steering wheel, the rubber isremoved and the metal frame is lightly sand blasted to bare metal, acid dipped and then painted in 2 packetch primer and undercoat, and then painted in 2 pack satin black, before the rubber material is applied.The “soft feel” rubber andreticulated pattern is BRAND NEW and has the same softness as the originalsteering wheels from Ford.Has been accurately copied from a new unwornsteering wheel.There are no mechanical changes to thesteering wheels so they still comply with vehicle design rule conditions. Colour and material is UV resistant andwill last many years without fading or cracking. Please Note! The steering wheel issupplied WITHOUT the centre cap.Please Note! The steering wheel is suppliedWITHOUT the rubber sleeve around the column. We very closely follow the original1970s manufacturing procedures.
