This is a black vinyl rear boot hatch luggage cover for a 3lit GHIA Ford Capri Mk2.
Which are now very rare so You may never have seen one before.
However you may have noticed 4 CROME screws in the back of the hatch.
Looks like a place
Where one could attach a good grip for some bungees.
But for those who don’t know this is how the parcelshelf Luggage cover is secured.
The vinyl is in good condition with no rips or fraying of the stitching.
The underside that lays over the luggage is a little grubby but is not normally seen.
The top side looks clean for its age
The shelf has 3 elasticated rubber bands/strips
Running through seams which have securing clips on the ends which are stretched onto the CROME screws in the rear boot/ hatch to make a taut boot cover.
Two of these elastic rubbers have snapped I have safety pinned them together as shown in the pictures, so that the shelf may be used However I would suggest that you replace them (rubber/elastic
