The V5C is present and up to date. The car has a full set of original Ford wheel trims and mudflaps. The mud flaps are in need of refastening. The sump has become porous and is leaking . .
Some parts are in acceptable used condition and some parts are in good usedcondition with some signs of wear. Some parts have corrosion / rust.The gearbox was working fine when last used on the road.All four doors including the door bottoms have been checked recently and are fine . There is some rust on the passenger’s door front bottom corner . I have tapped it the paint has gone but the area is solid and okay for renovation. All doors open, shut and lock fine as does the boot. The door rub strips are nice and tight.
The front and rear valances, wheel arches and area around the petrolfiller have signs of rust corrosion.The sills are corroded and will require replacing / welding There is a hole around the back tow hookwhere the valance has rusted through altogether.
Complete – All parts are present. Some of the brake pipes have been upgradedwith copper brake pipes.The rear tyres are in reasonable condition. The fronttyres will require replacing.
If it was to be repaired, with the car being stood for a while, initially theremay be a degree of freeing up of parts involved. With it not been run on theroad for a while it would be advisable to complete a thorough overhaul.Theengine has been started recently.The car has also sustained some dents to the bonnetand drivers wing. This occurred when the car was stationary (parked on the drive).The driver’s side headlamp has been knocked loose and one ofthe plastic bar legs behind the front of the bonnet has come detached.Thepassengers side mirror is loose and come off from its holder.In addition to the above the bodywork also has the usualmarks /scratches / dings for a vehicle of this age.I know the maintenance history of the car / parts I also know the fullownership history from new. The car was garaged during use from 1993 to 2007. We have owned the car /parts since 2007.Please note the car was given a thorough clean and wax forthe listing photographs. Unfortunately the car is no longer as clean, beingoutside and exposed to the elements. From a non- smoking household.
