These locks are in superb condition and look as good as new. They must surely be the best available ………I would be happy to send more photos if you require.
Documentation found with these locks show them to have been made in England by C.E.Marshall under licence to Ford Motor co. in 1988. They are 30 yrs old but were lightly oiled and have been wrapped in a sealed bag from new, and look like they were made yesterday. They come complete with 4 keys all of which of course bear the Ford logo.
The set will fit ALL Escorts Mk4 88/90 ……….and as a direct replacement for the “Chubb” locks fitted from 86/88.
They fit RS Turbos / XR3i / Cabriolet, and all Saloon and Estates cars but not vans. They also fit Orion MK2 86/90. The set comprises of an Ignition barrel, both Door locks, Petrol locking barrel and Boot lock, ….. with 4 keys as per the photos.
