GENUINE BRAND NEW Escort Van 1.8 Diesel, Power Steering Bracket/Engine Mount
This is an EXTREMELY RARE GENUINE Bracket/Engine Mount for the Power Steering pump, and as many of the items I’ve been listing here on eBay, this too was bought for a customer of my motor engineering workshop for his 2001 (or thereabouts) Escort Van 1.8 Diesel but before we had a chance of fitting it the engine blew off, itwasnt worth doing it, the car got written off, the client didn’t pay for the part and I’ve been lumped with it since .
As can be seen in the pics its brand new, never used, its not been salvaged from a car.
These are simply impossible to come by nowadays; I remember I had trouble finding one when I bought it and had to pay top dolar for it.
Please study the photos; I’ve added a ‘stock photo’ of the pump sitting on the bracket FOR ILLUSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY – OBVIOUSLY the pump IS NOT INCLUDED!
Now that I’m preparing to retire from professional auto engineering after more than four decades of hard graft and embrace the quiet life looking after my horses, I’m doing a big clear out of my workshop hence some of the treasures that you will find in my other listings.
I will not let it go for tuppence as this is simply VERY DIFFICULT to come by. If you’ve been looking for one you’ll know exactly what I mean. I am however open to SENSIBLE offers on this item.
